So, mis amigos, tomorrow my wife, son and I fly away to spend eight wonderful days in Kauai. Michael Sedano very kindly agreed to post my Monday entries (August 22 and 29) while I'm away (it should work...they're sitting in draft form waiting to be published; will technology fail us?). This is a picture of a Kauai rooster. Frankly, it looks like a Mexican rooster to me. But what do I know? I'm a writer, not a roosterologist (whatever, as my son would say). Anyway, I need to get my ch’i back in balance; I must correct the bad feng shui in my life. It's been a long, hard 12 months since our last summer vacation. Stay well. Abrazos.
