The book and the review were both great.

I don't think it read like a middle school writing assignment at all. I found X-rated Bloodsuckers to be fun, well written, enjoyable and different. I have more to say about it, but I'll save that for my review.

There is absolutely no reason to be so bitchy while commenting. La Bloga reviewers take a lot of time from otherwise busy schedules to be as thoughtful, careful and honest in their assessments of the books we review on this blog and even if we personally don't like a book for whatever reason, we try to be kind, positive and constructive in our criticism. Compadrito Sedano doesn't try to "suck" anyone into reading the book. He read it, he liked it and he's sharing his thoughts. Most people who comment on La Bloga are nice even if they disagree.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9367921.post-1166546458640235002006-12-19T09:40:00.000-07:002006-12-19T09:40:00.000-07:00Disappointed....Your review of X-Rated Blooksucker...Disappointed....
Your review of X-Rated Blooksuckers almost sucked me into reading another disappointing novel by Mario Acevedo..but I fought it, remembering, not fondly, the stop-start, hesitant story telling of Nymphos. My wise decision to not spend money or time on X-Rated Bloodsuckers was reinforced by the excerpt from dominic debs "..the vampire falls instantly in love with the lucious woman..." It sounds and reads like an excerpt from a middle school writing assignment ...hopefully there'll be a better, well-written novel under the tree that won't disappointAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
