What
are the special challenges that writers of color face in today’s literary
marketplace? How do they get their voices heard beyond the narrow confines of
an “ethnic” audience, to become more widely known to a majority readership?
The
Greater Los Angeles Writers Society (GLAWS) is please to present a
distinguished panel of authors of color in a candid and inspirational
discussion of their writing, their careers, and how each hone ahs overcome
their own personal challenges to become successful. The panel includes Gary Phillips, Deborah M. Pratt, Naomi Hirahara and Daniel Olivas. No matter what you’re
writing, you must attend this important Special Speaker
Event. For more information about this panel, visit here.
