Looking at Desegregation of Public Schools in California:
Mendez v. Westminster
The landmark court case Mendez v. Westminster (1947), building on the historical battles against segregation and in California, as much as in the entire nation, offers us an opportunity to reflect on the public education system today as much as yesteryear. Please join two incredible individuals who posit their thoughts on their personal experiences with education and how the Mendez case, as much as other landmark cases (e.g., Brown v. Board of education, 1954), as well as social aspects, have shaped the education system.
