Now accepting applications for the 2024 International Latino Book Awards
DEADLINE: APRIL 15, 2024, $90 ENTRY FEE
The objective of these awards has been to recognize the greatness in both Latino writers and in non-Latinos who are writing on Latino topics.
Guidelines:
BOOK QUALIFICATIONS
All books must be published prior to the deadline and carry a publication date of either 2022, 2023 or 2024.
Books written in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or Bilingual must be written by a Latino author OR have a Latino theme.
LANGUAGE
Bilingual books in all categories must be in English and Spanish. A book where 90% or more of the words are in English and the rest of the words are in Spanish is an English language book and vice versa.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
• Previous awards winning books can reapply into the awards under a different category, with a translated book, or only if the book underwent significant changes.
• We reserve the right to move your book to a different category when appropriate.
• When a high numbers of book entries are received in a category, the category divides into English, Spanish & Bilingual books.
• If a low number of book entries is received for related categories, then the category might be combined into one general category.
